When not in the kitchen or relaxing, we'll take you to a top Prosecco wine producer, or a traditional maker of Raboso, the favoured red wine of the Venetians during the Republic's heyday.
We visit food markets in the medieval towns of Vittorio Veneto or Conegliano. We might take a trip into the mountains to see Belluno, or visit Asolo, considered one of the most beautiful towns in all of Italy. We can visit a Palladian villa and the Abbey of Follina, a national monument from before 1000AD.
We have an 18th century bread oven that is used to bake bread and pizzas. There are many beautiful walks that begin right at our gate. We also have mountain bikes, a small indoor swimming pool, and a table-tennis table for your enjoyment. Horse riding can be arranged for anyone interested.
CastelBrando, which can be reached by a five minute walk, followed by a short trip in a funicular railway, has a spa, theatre, and various bars - the views from its ramparts are wonderful. Throughout the year there are various food festivals in local villages that add colour and fun. Our own artisan village festival in August is famous in the area for its stands, concerts and the atmosphere in general. Numerous producers of stylish clothes and shoes sell their products directly at factory prices in the region.
For non-cooks, a local sculptor offers lessons in his craft, or will take you rock-climbing in the Dolomites. We can organise language lessons in Italian. We'll try our best to accommodate any further interests. Or just relax while your partner is in the kitchen!
